existence

What is it to exist?

This question is not new. It is not being asked today, and it was not asked yesterday. For as long as humanity has existed, it has asked this question. And it will continue to ask it.

Does living begin with a breath? Or at the moment you think? Is it the instant you realize yourself? Or is it in that void where you cannot be sure of anything? Existence, more often than not, does not provide clear answers. On the contrary, as questions multiply, one’s inner world becomes even more entangled.

It is said that life has a meaning. This meaning is sometimes described as something to be found, and sometimes it is assumed to be given to us. However, as time passes, one realizes this: meaning is not fixed. It changes. It vanishes. Sometimes it never arrives at all. And this situation is far more common than we think.

Most of the time, a person feels they are living but is not certain of it. A disconnect forms between what they do, what they feel, and what they think. They say, "I am here," but they cannot know if they are truly here. Existence is a burden carried along with this uncertainty.

Searching for answers is exhausting. But living without answers is even more exhausting.

Sometimes, a person just carries on.

Without knowing what one is living for, and without being able to figure out why one is here.

This state is not a deficiency; **_it is existence itself_**.
